Our services are geared toward improving the overall quality of life for all individuals we serve. Services can be facilitated either, in home, school, the community or in the office. In addition to providing intensive care coordination, each individual will also have the option of a behavioral health assessment, a nursing assessment and care, a physician assessment and care as well as various clinical trainings and consultations. Please familiarize yourself with the following service descriptions to assist you in choosing the right option for your family’s needs.
Intensive Family Intervention (IFI)
Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) services decrease the chances of out-of-home placement and other more intensive/restrictive treatment for children and adolescents. Services require complete cooperation of the entire family network as contact hours begin at an increased rate and titrate over a period of time as progress becomes evident. We assist in improving family function by:
- Clinically stabilizing the living arrangement.
- Promoting reunification and preventing the utilization of out of home therapeutic venues (i.e. psychiatric hospital, therapeutic foster care, residential treatment facility) for the identified individual consumer.
- Utilizing a team approach to promote healthy living arrangements to children within their family system.
Community Support & Behavioral Assistance
Community Support & Behavioral Assistance staff will serve as the primary coordinators of behavioral health services and will provide individuals with:
- The skills and resources to maintain stability and independence in their daily community living.
- Linkage to long-term community support systems.
- Psychiatric care, addiction services, medical services, crisis prevention and intervention services.
Individual Counseling Service
Individual Counseling Services utilize therapeutic treatment shown to be successful with identified populations, diagnoses and service needs. Counseling services assist individuals in:
- Identifying and resolving social, vocational, interpersonal and interpersonal concerns.
- Increasing skills such as problem solving and cognitive skills, healthy coping mechanisms, adaptive behaviors and knowledge regarding mental illness. In addition to mental health, our therapy sessions address substance related disorders and other relevant topics that assist in meeting the needs of the individual and support system.
Family Counseling and Training Services
Family Counseling and Training Services utilize a therapeutic intervention and counseling service shown to be successful with identified family populations, diagnoses and service needs. This service provides:
- Systematic interactions between the consumer, staff and the family members geared toward the restoration and development of the family unit.
- Family support, as well as training and specific therapeutic activities to enhance family roles, relations, and communication that promote the recovery of family unit.
Crisis Intervention (CI) Services
Crisis Intervention (CI) Services are directed toward the support of an individual who is experiencing an abrupt and substantial change in behavior and is in the direction of severe impairment of functioning or a marked increase in personal distress. Services include:
- 24 hour, 7 day a week telephone and/or face-to-face contact in any setting at any time (e.g. home, school, jail, hospital, clinic, etc.)
